For Gibson Rieland, building with his hands had always been a natural part of life, from hours spent with Legos and Minecraft to helping his dad in the workshop. When he discovered CAD and 3D printing in an after-school STEM club, he was hooked.

After getting his first 3D printer, he experimented and grew in his knowledge and capabilities. As he moved into High School, he shifted his focus to include classes in Graphic Design and Business to help further his understanding in the direction of his passion. At home, he was continually designing and printing fun things for friends and family, and was even hired to redesign and print farming equipment parts.

As college loomed in his Junior year, he homed-in on his design abilities and has decided to pursue a Manufacturing Design Engineering degree. This is his outlet to share his designs and his journey…
